Pinball
I can't remember the last time I saw one of those machines in a bar. Probably Paris, in the 80es. Anyway, I was happy seeing a few at a vintage fair last weekend. For sale, at truly gigantic prices. Hey, it's vintage!
Now, let's head back to my crazy youth. Nice boots, Elton me boyo!

Braving COVID
Holidays during the pandemic... I had to go away for a few days, cabin fever, lockdown... Last, it had to be Greece. Why Greece? Well, they had very few cases at that time. And I went to a small village in southern Crete, avoiding people. One year and a few months later: still alive and well, getting my third Pfizer jab in 2 weeks.

Local products
One of a kind vending machine in the central train station, selling fresh local Alsatian products: Sauerkraut, complete with potatoes and sausages, horseradish (aka "Alsatian wasabi"), goose liver, munster (a very smelly cheese), different sausages, jam... A gueter! Bon appétit!

Electric
Number 10 city bus, in front of the central train station. Strasbourg is a green municipality, all tramways and most busses run on electricity.

Pas un temps Ă mettre un chien dehors
Don't you hate it when your paws are getting wet?
The post title is a french expression: no weather to put a dog outside. Meaning: shite weather.

Not only for Christmas!
Traditional Alsatian kugelopf (many ways to write it), originally eaten for Christmas. You can get them (or make them) anytime and everywhere now. Either sweet, with raisins and almonds, or salty, with bacon bits and nuts. I love them both!

A winery
The Alsace region produces 7 types of wine, 6 whites and a rosé in the village of Ottrott. This is a winery in Kintzheim, 50 km south of Strasbourg, in a traditional and well kept building. White wine therefore.
