Not to his liking
Our local boy, Jean-Baptiste Kléber, a general, hero of Napoleon Bonaparte's little trip to Egypt, doesn't seem to like the twice weekly market on the square named after him... Maybe it's the dresses...

CDP May theme day: museums
I lived in London (the UK one) for a few years The very first thing I visited there was the Rosetta Stone in the British Museum, one of my favorite museums. Other favorites are the Louvre, the now closed MIBA, museum of ideas and inventions in Barcelona, the toilet museum in New Delhi... Anyway, more posts about the theme right... here.
And happy Labor day!!!

SXB
Our very small Strasbourg International Airport, also codenamed SXB, was closed for 6 weeks. It reopened yesterday, with a brand new runway, new lighting, refurbished building. 18 airlines serve SXB, most of them seasonal.

What to wear today???
The first tourist boat of the season. The tourist season normally started last weekend. Glorious weather, but... 2 degrees C in the morning, 20 later... What to wear indeed.

Bretzel galore
I went to the small but nice Easter market in town yesterday: food, jewels, rabbit-shaped candles... And a lot of bretzels!

April theme day: my favorite toy
OK, this needs explaining. I've found this... prehistoric looking toad somewhere in Croatia. If you pull out the stick and rub it on the back, it sounds vaguely like halfway between a frog and a toad. My anti-stress toy. This is not a joke, lol! Or is it?
More about this theme day here.

One of a kind
Nice bike, even nicer sidecar! The sign behind: anarchists in town, on the 10 general strike this year...

Dedicated to...
... the demented "christian" Talibans in Florida, and elsewhere in AmeriKKKa. Should you want it as a gift to someone, the apron is available in Italy, or... here.
