SXB

Our very small Strasbourg International Airport, also codenamed SXB, was closed for 6 weeks. It reopened yesterday, with a brand new runway, new lighting, refurbished building. 18 airlines serve SXB, most of them seasonal.

The first tourist boat of the season. The tourist season normally started last weekend. Glorious weather, but... 2 degrees C in the morning, 20 later... What to wear indeed.

April theme day: my favorite toy

OK, this needs explaining. I've found this... prehistoric looking toad somewhere in Croatia. If you pull out the stick and rub it on the back, it sounds vaguely like halfway between a frog and a toad. My anti-stress toy. This is not a joke, lol! Or is it?

More about this theme day here.

A hero of my youth

Philippe Druillet, a comics artist, creator and innovator in virtual design. The guy who introduced me to science fiction through his books. A selection of his art on the glass canopy covering our local train station.
