No white Christmas

It is still very cold, minus 11 C as I write. But everybody's hopes for a white Christmas have gone down the drain, with the snow slush:

Wrong place!!!

Father Christmas, aka Santa, Père Noel in French. Oh, you probably think he lives up there, North Pole? Well, you're soooooo wrong!!! When kids in France write to him (and probably some adults as well), the letters don't go to the North Pole. No no no, Santa lives in a much warmer place, due to his age. Right here in Libourne, near Bordeaux:

No stamps needed.

 

Cold

Winter is here. Minus 11 degrees C this morning, with sunshine. Snow and freezing rain expected tomorrow. We may have a white Christmas for the first time in ages... We'll see.
