Oum pa pa

During summer, many concerts of traditional Alsatian muzak in town, bands in traditional outfit. We call it oum pa pa music, oum pa pa (repeated many times) giving you an idea of the rhythm. I have to confess, I can't stand this music, but it was worth of photo for my blog. Give me jazz or 70es oldies anytime! Or even Ozzy Osborne, everything is better then this! But not ABBA! I absolutely hate ABBA's muzak!

Every summer...

Every summer, the public transport company, CTS, renews kilometres of tramway tracks. The trams are replaced by a bus fleet. Thinking of those workers, with helmet and protective clothes, with almost tropical temperatures we're having...
