Sans faire de vagues
Without making waves, by Gaëtan Gromer, another work at this year's The magnificent Industry exhibition. Life-sized sharks, with amputated fins, making a noise every time one shark is thrown back into the sea, mutilated. Shark fins are very popular in some countries... I wasn't the only one taking photos. Hello, colleague!

The magnificent industry
L'industrie magnifique is the name of a monumental art exhibition all around town, from June 3rd till June 13th. Will show you more as soon as I take the photos. This is called Terre de Ciel, earth of heaven, by Patrick Bastardoz, made of bricks, roof tiles and metal. It's about the tower of Babel. See below...

The old municipal grain store
Build in 1441, restored in 2002, the building is a huge 130 meters long. It helped the city manage it's subsistance policy in terms of combating food shortage and grain speculation. Nowadays, it houses workshops, rehearsal and music studios on the Opéra National du Rhin, Rhine National Opera.
