Not only for Christmas!
Traditional Alsatian kugelopf (many ways to write it), originally eaten for Christmas. You can get them (or make them) anytime and everywhere now. Either sweet, with raisins and almonds, or salty, with bacon bits and nuts. I love them both!

A winery
The Alsace region produces 7 types of wine, 6 whites and a rosé in the village of Ottrott. This is a winery in Kintzheim, 50 km south of Strasbourg, in a traditional and well kept building. White wine therefore.

Pyguargue
So, last Saturday, we went to this bird place in Kintzheim (try to pronounce it, lol). We saw amongst many others, this amazing pyguargue (in French), sea eagle in English.

Snowy on a hot day
Nice day out, to a bird conservation place in the mountains. Harry Potter fans, you will surely recognise Hedwig, the snowy owl!

Weekend in black and white
I am the oldest plane tree in town. I have been providing shade since 1667! I am still healthy!

Petit train
Being quite aware of the city's history, architecture, art, and being a walker, I confess I've never taken this little tourist train.

A four-eyed Monday Mural
You can surely guess where I took this photo and what it represents... Come on, it's easy! Although I don't know about her 4 eyes.

The Florence offices
Italian: gli Uffizi. What was built as an office building for florentine magistrates, is now one of the world's most famous museums. Wish I was there, as I did not see everything (too big, not enough time). And to have a caffé!

Podgorica
The international coach station in Podgorica, Crna Gora. Crna Gora, country better known as Montenegro, one of the very few European countries where you get stamps on your passport. Missing my old passports full of colorful stamps, sigh.

A Monday Mural
Scary. The thing is wearing an old Venitian medical mask, used during the black death.
More, hopefully less scary, murals here.

Water, bubbles and a few tourists
An old photo... No bubbles today, very few tourists, but a lot of water, as we have the wettest summer in 60 years. Non-stop rain.
