The Strasbourg cathedral was built out of pink sandstone from the mountain range nearby, the Vosges. Pollution blackened it, cleaning is been done for as long as I can remember. A Sisyphus kind of task...  
 

Second hand

Several stalls selling second hand books and some posters and knickknacks, 3 or 4 times a week on the main square.
