Winter

Winter, but there are still a few leaves to be found. In glasshouses. Winter starts in France at 4.59 PM (16.59), plus 16.49 seconds. I'm enjoying the last 3 hours and 50 minutes of autumn, me! Not counting the seconds.

Empty streets

An old photo. This week, streets are full with tourists, last minute Christmas shoppers succumbing to the thrall of consumerism, kids on holidays... If I need shopping, I do it early.

Strasbourg in black and white

The Petite France area in Strasbourg, seen from the Barrage Vauban. The place I call home, for the moment.    More b&w here
And more reflections right... here

Grey Sunday

A little digital painting today, the small Christmas market in Obernai. Much better than the huge one in Strasbourg, without the massive crowds, hundreds of thousand tourists and locals... Literally: 2.5 million tourists expected in Strasbourg, social distancing impossible. Do they know about Covid???

Fairytale hotel

Weird architecture... I don't know anything about this building, but it seems to be straight out of a fairytale.

No glitter for me!

I am not into glitter, lights, and so on. I prefer this kind of Christmas decoration. Simple.

Senior railway

Nice day out in Obernai, needed to go out of town, cabin fever...I went there by train, using my senior citizen discount railcard for the first time ever. Not this train though.
