Lock down, day 2

It's all so quiet... Waiting for an update from Mr Macron tonight. Will it be confinement, like in China, Spain, Italy?

Lockdown

Well... I was supposed to fly to Istanbul for a few days this week... A much needed break. Problem: France is a Covid-19 hotspot. So, a few days ago, Turkey imposed a 14 days quarantine to all coming from France and a few other countries. And then, was night, France was put on lockdown, until further notice. Can't even visit my old mum in her retirement home.
PLEASE DON'T COME TO FRANCE!!!

Café Atlantico

We have several barges in town, used for theater, cabaret, culture, and... coffee. Soon enough, it will be warm enough to enjoy a coffee in the sun. But not today.

The lock keeper's tower

Aka tour de l'Ă©clusier, aka Heinrichsturm, aka tour Henri. One of five 13th century (AD 1230 to 1250) towers protecting Strasbourg. 4 towers remaining, the 5th burned down in 1869. A little more about them here.
