Monthly theme day: municipal building
City daily photo's theme day. As I didn't have the time to find something in Strasbourg, here is an old photo, from a past life. The ayuntament, aka Barcelona city hall, during the yearly Merce festivities.

The lock keeper's tower
Aka tour de l'éclusier, aka Heinrichsturm, aka tour Henri. One of five 13th century (AD 1230 to 1250) towers protecting Strasbourg. 4 towers remaining, the 5th burned down in 1869. A little more about them here.

Weekend in black and white
Photo taken a few hundert years ago. The clock is/was part of my secret time traveling device. Not a word to anyone, or I shall be obliged to meeting you tomorrow morning at 6 outside the city gate, for a pistol duel. You might want to bring a witness.
