Transparent

After too many years starring at too strong sunlight, after too many years starring at screens, I thought I needed new glasses. Fact is, I needed urgent eye surgery, cataract as I was going to lose my eyesight, which is not cool for a photographer... First eye 2 weeks ago, second yesterday. This is what I have to wear for 5 nights after each surgery. Oh good: I can read with it, it's transparent!

More b&w here, as usual.

And for  the City Daily Photo monthly theme day (theme: transparent, you guessed it), click here.

  5. Cataract surgery is like magic. Along with immediate better vision, you also experience brighter, cooler colors. I had some fun in the time from the first eye 'til the second – it was like a photoshop edit. One eye was dull and on the warm side of white balance while the new eye was sharp and with a neutral to cool white balance.

I wish you the best with your new eyes.
