Le Zouave
36 hours whirlwind trip to Paris, family matters. This is one of the most famous statues in Paris, under the Alma bridge, a zouave was an infantry soldier from the Crimean war, 19th century. More about him here, on Wiki.

Printemps
A huge department store in the city centre called Printemps, springtime. The shop closed a few years ago, didn't survive covid. 2 or 3 months ago, one of the big metal claddings fell on the street, no one was injured, fortunately. Now, finally, they're putting nets, to protect people waiting for the tramway underneath...
