A weekend reflection
Well, this is not Strasbourg... I've been going to Venice since the early 80 es, just love the place, it's almost my second home. I speak veneto, the local dialect, and that helps!

Weekend in black and white
The island of San Michele, in the Venice laguna, halfway between Fondamenta Nuove and Murano The whole island is actually Venice's graveyard. The statue is called la chiatta di Dante, or Dante's gondola, by Russian sculptor Georgy Frangulyan. It depicts Dante and Virgil, going to the afterlife.
