Weekend in black and white

The island of San Michele, in the Venice laguna, halfway between Fondamenta Nuove and Murano The whole island is actually Venice's graveyard. The statue is called la chiatta di Dante, or Dante's gondola, by Russian sculptor Georgy Frangulyan. It depicts Dante and Virgil, going to the afterlife.

    Un des endroits les plus paisibles de Venise. J'aime beaucoup la photo de cette sculpture. C'est toujours une excursion agréable que de se rendre sur les îles
