Johann Andreas Silbermann

The Silbermann organ, St Peter the Young church. Built in 1780, it is one of the best french organs, often used for recording JS Bach's organ works.

The lock keeper's tower

Aka tour de l'éclusier, aka Heinrichsturm, aka tour Henri. One of five 13th century (AD 1230 to 1250) towers protecting Strasbourg. 4 towers remaining, the 5th burned down in 1869. A little more about them here.
