3 hours...

A 3 hours stroll through town. Not a minute longer, or we might get a 135 euros fine, in case of a police control. We use an app to generate an authorization for shopping, going to the doctor, shopping, and so on. This said, I haven't been controlled this year, not even once. I don't know anyone who has.

Hopla!

A restaurant in the Petite France area. Hopla is the logo for Fischer beer. I'm not a beer drinker, can't stand it.

Pont Saint Martin

Famour restaurant in town, unfortunately totally overrun by tourists. Nice place 35 years ago.

Les Ponts Couverts, or covered bridges, part of the old fortifications around town. Well, we had to ward off the nasty Germans, innit!

The tree

See the tree? You can't miss it! According to the city historians, he is well over 500 years old. Nice, but who cares, when all you need in the summer is  a hard-fought place in his shade.

The little house on the water

I wonder who lives there. This little house seems like from another time, quaint, peaceful. It is a safe haven for ducks anyway. Can you see them, Mr and Mrs Duck?
