23 quai des Bateliers, Strasbourg

Among other earlier owners, (the house was built around 1567), this was Georges Frederic Strass's house, king Louis the 15th's jeweler. Strass also invented rhinestone, in French... strass.

    I know nada about jewellery, but that wood decoration looks nice enough.
