My heart tonight goes to the city on Genoa, Genova, where a bridge of the main highway linking the city to France and the rest of Italy, collapsed this morning, killing at least 30 people. I was there last summer.
Yes, poor Genoa indeed. What a tragedy today. God help them. I began my sea journey to Israel from there back in 1968 and the city has always had a special place in my heart.
