Fête de la COVID

The yearly Fête de la musique was.... Special. Oh ok, it was joyous and entertaining, misicians on boats, bicycles, jazz, rock...
What was extremely disturbing  was the big groups, hundreds of people, no social distancing, no masks in sight. Fête de la musique, or fête de la COVID?

Weekend in black and white

I have absolutely no idea what this bird is: black beak, black legs, yellow feet.
More b&w here.
UPDATE: it's an egret, aigrette in French, Reiher in German.

Not a spaceship!

The main tramway station in town, in the place de l'homme de Fer, iron man square. 2 origins for the name, depending who you ask: either the first train in the 19th century, or the statue of a soldier in armor, above a pharmacy. Absolutely nothing to do with Robert Downey Jr, or Stan Lee!

Weekend in black and white

The Vosges mountain range is about 25 km from here, all along the Rhine river, from Germany to the Swiss border.
Well, this the place des Vosges, Vosges square, in Paris, nowhere near the actual Vosges. More about the most beautiful square I know of here.
And more b&w here
