A flamingo mural
Seen a few days ago in the town of Ulcinj, southern Montenegro. There is a nature reserve nearby, with hundreds of them birdies, but I didn't have the time to go there.
More Monday murals here, at Sami's blog.

Football free blog
Well, this one is dead. I've never understood the hype about pro or not) football, overpaid men running after a bit of leather, the beer filled rowdiness, the obscene amount of money, the violence, the deaths... Women behave better, I hope. Anyway, it's a big NO NO for me.

Ribarske kuće/Shtëpitë e peshkatarëve
Fishermen's houses on the Bojana river in Montenegro, at the Albanian border.
The post's title means fishermen's houses, in Croatian/Albanian, some of the languages spoken down there. In one of my hotels, the owner spoke only Serbian. The old tower of Babel comes to mind...😀

Yet another Montenegro kitty
More black and white https://blackandwhiteweekend.blogspot.com/2026/06/friday-5th-june-2026.html?m=1
Nice kitty
He set next to me while I was having a coffee in Ulcinj. Due to the amount of hairs in the chair, it surely was his.

Little Italy
Ciao from Podgorica, the capital city of a tiny country called Crna Gora, aka Montenegro, in the Balkans. I usually go to a local specialty restaurant, but I was too tired. So, had to be a Sicilian restaurant next to my hotel. Worst pasta Bolognese ever...

Up and away for a week to beautiful Crna Gora, aka Montenegro. Not sure about blogging, depending on the internet coverage where I go.
